Theoretical and applied aspects of genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic analyses

Full Course Title: Theoretical and applied aspects of genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic analyses

State of the art approaches applied for genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic studies in plant sciences will be discussed on the basis of recently published research papers. Importantly, the techniques will not only be theoretically introduced but it will be demonstrated which biological or agronomical questions can be answered by these methods.
Each participant has to give a 30 min power point presentation based on one review and one original paper. Subsequently, each talk will be discussed. A handout (max. 2 pages on one sheet) has to be distributed prior to each talk.
